Conger Eel

In contrast to Moray eels the conger eels have pectoral fins. The conger eel is a night-active predator and prefers to live in caves or in shipwrecks as often as found in the Mediterranean. Divers are very much attracted by this big fish which easily learns to accept food by man. Males reach sexual maturity with about 75 cm length, females only with about 200 cm length
