Overview

Butterfly Cones, despite their friendly name, are both predatory and venomous. If found, they should be handled with care or not at all. It hunts fish by shooting them with a poisonous harpoon, then swallows them whole. These cones are found in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean and can reach 26cm (10in) in length.
