Common Thresher Shark

Coastal and off-shore waters. Body temperature higher than sorrounding waters. A fast timid species ocassionally swimming along slopes or drop-offs adjacent to deep water.

Mediterranean. Throughout our Atlantic area with records from the North Sea south to Gulf of Guinea, and South Africa.
