Overview
The Imperial Volute is a species of sea snail which can reach up to 25cm (10in). They are found mostly in the tropical seas near the Philippines. The Imperial Volute eats other small mollusks and is born with a fully formed shell, unlike most mollusks. The Imperial Volute shell is one of the most expensive shells in the world.
