Overview
The Giant Triton is a carnivorous mollusk measuring up to an impressive 60cm (24in). The large sea slug is one of the only predators to the crown-of-thorns starfish and is important in maintaining the coral reef ecosystem for this reason. Found in the Indo-Pacific Oceans, many populations have used its beautiful shell decoratively and as a trumpet.
