Blue shark

An unmistakeable species with very slender body and wing-like pectorals, large eyes and deep blue dorsal coloration. The oceanic-pelagic species also ventures into shallower waters especially at night. Besides fish and crusteceans it prefers cephalopods, mainly squid, which are scooped up while the sharks peneetrate their spawning schools.
